Day 53

Today our niece turns 4 years old!  She loves the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles so that was her party theme!

Day 52

Tonight our church hosted its Third Annual Dodgeball Tournament!  All of the money goes to benefit the local food pantry (also started by our church years ago).  Brendan was asked to play on a middle school team so we all went to support him.  I have mailed my best long range lens back to be cleaned and calibrated so I only had an old kit lens.  It took horrible photos, but it is what it is.  Here is a shot of the boys waiting to play.  They ended up coming in 3rd place!

Another unique thing that happened today is that a turtle was in our driveway when JC and I headed out for our Friday lunch date.  Thankfully JC suggested that I go and grab my Nikon to snap a couple of photos.  This little guy tucked into his shell so quickly when I picked him up to move him! Ha!

I cannot wait!  After a very cold winter, I was giddy with temps in the 70s today! And…while walking around outside, I saw this beautiful sight!  It's about time!

Ice again this morning!  I really want it to be gone soon!  This is the worst winter that I can remember in quite a while!

This is kind of funny though…at the 9th hour, Jackson decided to convert an old skateboard into a snowboard!
