Emma's school had their annual Christmas musical last night. It is mainly for the second grade with a 5th grade chorus. Each class has one song they sing with some "acting" in between songs. Emma got to be the Snowman who talks! She did such an amazing job. I was actually surprised and so proud of her.

Day 342
Last weekend Emma and Jack decided to make and decorate the gingerbread house. We try to do this every year. We use it as a decoration instead of actually eating it which can be tough on the kids while decorating. They love to eat the candy!
This year I picked up a kit from the local grocery store. It is nothing fancy, and in fact had very little icing with it.
I think all things being said, it looks quite good. We spruced up the "yard" with powdered sugar and bottle brush trees. Emma is very proud of it!
Day 340
By Tuesday we had finally gotten the tree decorated!!!
The tree we picked out is just a bit too large this year. Not sure what I was thinking. Our angel would not fit at the top so Emma made us a beautiful paper star!
I think it turned out beautifully!
Day 339
We flew home the Saturday after Thanksgiving and were able to get all of our Christmas decorations up outside. On Sunday we went to church and then went to eat lunch and get a Christmas tree!
Here's Emma at lunch! She is a sassy thing.

Day 338
After downtown Dallas, we drove out to Frisco, TX to see the FC Dallas soccer stadium. First we had lunch at the cutest TexMex restaurant:
Thankfully, the stadium gates were unlocked so we were able to go inside. They were officially closed for tours that day.
The kids are the "I" in the "Dallas Til I Die"!
Day 337
After touring the baseball stadium, we drove into downtown Dallas.
We found Jackson Street!!! :)
We drove by the Book Depository...
And then we drove the route where JFK was shot...
Then we drove over to Pioneer Plaza to see the Cattle Drive.
Day 336
On the Friday after Thanksgiving, we tried to cram in as much touristy things as possible. However, we woke up to pouring rain and 39 degrees so being outdoors was very much limited.
First thing we went over to the Texas Rangers Stadium which is right across from the Cowboys Stadium.

Day 333
I absolutely love this photo of the boys walking to our seats. Brendan is a Panthers fan, and I think he has about converted Jack as well. The rest of us are Cowboys fans!!!
Day 332
The Wednesday before Thanksgiving, we flew to Dallas to go see the Cowboys and Panthers play on Thanksgiving Day. It was an amazing trip!!!
Some friends of ours also decided to go to the game so we all got together at our condo before the game and had Thanksgiving lunch thanks to Cracker Barrel to go! :)

It started raining about lunchtime so we got a little wet walking to the game!
