Work...YMCA...Painting the kitchen...Dinner...

I had no idea about the devastation in Oklahoma until about 45 minutes ago.  I have no words.  Once again there is such tragic loss at an elementary school in the blink of an eye.  This seems to affect me more now...maybe because I am older...maybe because I have a 4th grader and a 6th grader.  I don't know.  I do know that I am beyond devastated tonight for all of the surviving residents of Moore, OK.

Day 41

This morning we got up and went to church.

On the way home, I stopped at Sherwin Williams for paint for the dining room.

I had the lady color match the moulding paint color for the wainscoting, and then I chose a color to "try" for the walls above.

I spent four hours painting today.  That was about 4 hours more than I wanted to...

Here is the color. I was thinking of a navy for the dining room...something bold.

I just don't think I can do it.  It is way too dark. The room can handle the bold color; I just don't think I can.
