I'm in love with this shot. I need some inspiration. Between this crazy winter and living in the dreary rental while we remodel I am going CRAY. It looks like you guys are getting better weather and I am so jelly. I miss NC big time. My older boys (while thrilled to be "home") want to go to college in NC so I am on the 4.5 year plan. My younger kids are so totally flexible so that makes it so much easier!! Anyway if you want to share your settings I would love it!
Thank you so much! I am running out of inspiration already as well. I snapped this in the driveway before Brendan's tryouts on Sunday. The weather here is so fickle as usual. It was 60 on Sunday (amazing after being 15 on Wednesday last week) and then today it is 39 and rainy! Ugh! Anyway, I did this in Photoshop. I brought the pic in and added a layer. Then I went to Filter at the top…down to Blur and over to Radial Blur and clicked on Radial Blur. A screen pops up where you can adjust the slider to create more rotational blur. I just picked an amount and then clicked ok. The whole picture then looks like a hurricane. I added a layer mask and then brushed away the blur off of Brendan's body using a black brush. Hope this helps! :)
Also I have a realtor in Wilmington, NC that we are distant friends with…he is good friends with some of our best friends that live there. Anyway, Topsail is the next island up from Wrightsville! Let me know if you would like his info!
Ooooh- I never thought about doing it in PS. Great idea! See I really need to play around more. I can't lose my mojo so early in the game!
Topsail is fun, one of my friends here has a house there (and my other friend has one in Holden, and yet another in OBX). They all rent them out. I would love to find one that is small and cheap enough that I didn't have to rent so I could go whenever I want.
That said I am starting to wonder if once my older two graduate from high school we will head back south permanently..
