Saturday we went to my niece's 6th birthday party.  Her birthday is Monday the 22nd!

Day 50

Brendan put a team together for the annual Dodgeball tournament that our church hosts each year.  All money is donated to the food pantry, and guests are asked to bring canned food items as admission.

Brendan's team was Snoop Dodgy Dodge.  They got sent to the loser's bracket the first game, but managed to win all other games and played in the championship.  Unfortunately they lost that game.

We had a snow day on President's Day instead of a school make-up day.

Sarah came over to play with Emma for a while, and they made this cute trifold poster!

Day 44

It is bitter cold outside.  Highs in the upper 20s and lows in the low teens.

That didn't stop these two from playing on the trampoline today.  I've got to admit that it was nice for the kids to be outside a little while at least.

It also helped that hot chocolate with A LOT of whipped cream was waiting on them when they finally came inside! :)

Day 43

I gave JC two canvases for Christmas.  The quality is not so good because they were printed from snapshots of old photos.  I love them though, and I finally got them hung in the stairwell leading down to the basement.

In the top canvas, JC is running in a 1993 track meet for UNC.

In the bottom photo, he had just won the United Kingdom High School Championship in the 800m.

I married a track star! :)
