Day 365

Happy New Year's Eve!!!

We started the day off with a family 5k benefitting the fire department.  It was really fun!

We had a great day on the beach and went back to watch the last sunset of the year.

Then it was out to dinner...

And that's a wrap on 2015!!!

Day 364

On the way back to the island we stopped for shrimp at a cute little store...

Day 363

On the last Tuesday  of the year, we left the island and drove to Orlando to watch UNC play Baylor in the Russell Athletic Bowl.  We lost, but we had a great time tailgating.

Some of us even made it on ESPN...

Day 362

Our first full day on the island was amazing.

Day 361

The day after Christmas, we woke up in Jacksonville, FL and continued our trip south to North Captiva Island.

We had to catch a water taxi over to the island.

There are no cars on the island.  Only golf carts and sandy paths.  Unfortunately the golf cart that our luggage was in died before we got to our house.  The boys had to help push.

Even though we didn't officially get in the house until about 4:45, we still had time to watch the sunset.

Day 360

Christmas Eve we celebrated at Patsy & Pop's house.

Then we went to the Candlelight Service at church.

Then we made reindeer food.

Then JC read Twas the Night Before Christmas and Santa Mouse.

Then the kids got to open one present each.

Then all was quiet.

Christmas morning was so much fun.  It's always one of my favorite times of the year.








After presents Katie, Carson, Andrew and MiMi came over for a quick lunch before we started heading south.
