Day 116

Beautiful day here in our little part of the world.

I was ambitious this afternoon and made a fresh flower head-wreath for Emma.

I took her out late afternoon for a photoshoot.

This is the first photo that I have edited, but I have many more that I love too.  Cannot wait to get them all processed.

Day 115

It's been a tough day for my mom...12 hours being monitored by doctors post cortisone injection in her  neck.  She is suffering from extreme pain and slight paralysis.  Hopefully she will leave the ED soon.

I left her to rush to B's game tonight after my sister arrived.  It was a massacre...not in our favor.  UGH.

What a day!  It's true...you just never know what is in store for you day to day.

Here is B with some real sunburst and sunflare...he caught all night tonight.

Day 112

Tonight I begged Emma to let me take a few photos for the blog.

She promptly told me that I could only take 5 pictures.

She held me to 14...

Although this is not the best photograph, it is the best of what I snapped.

Monday is almost over!!!  :)

Day 111

Caught Brendan out in the yard waiting for his brother to make "homemade" football gloves...

Brendan is now officially taller than me...this is a feat he has been anticipating for several months now. It's a little hard to take in honestly.

Where has the time gone?  He will be 12 years old in two weeks!

Day 107

Today after my lunch date, I popped in at the Habitat Restore...

I'm looking for a small, rectangular cocktail table.

I want to paint her a coral~pinkish to add some color and spunk to my new dining/living space.

I did not find what I was looking for...

what I did find was this lovely...

pastel

an original, framed pastel.

It was a little pricey at $45, but I LOVE her!

I quickly came home and cut away the backing so that I could straighten the pastel within the mat.

I think this is a treasure.

I love original pieces of art!
