It is Veteran's Day today!  I am sharing a picture of me and my favorite Veteran taken in 2002.

This weekend was Jackson's last soccer tournament of the fall season.  His team lost their first two games, but they were able to end the season with a win.  I am proud of Jackson and the way he played today.  It has been a rough start, but I am looking forward to how this team can grow in the spring.

I have been wanting to do a "glitter" picture with Emma for a while.  Today was just a practice round.  It's amazing how it takes just the right amount of air forced out to make the glitter fly in a pretty pattern. Maybe one day we will get it right!

Today is the 50th day of school!  Emma's teacher asked that the kids dress for the 1950s today!  I made this skirt last night in about 15 minutes (as you can tell) using an old princess costume, felt, ribbon and hot glue!

One more from the Tough Mudder…too busy tonight in real life to take more photos!

This is the very last obstacle called "ElectroShock Therapy".  It knocked me down face first in the mud and then I had to crawl out!  It hurt, but not as much as the arctic enema!

Last night I posted the "after" photo from Tough Mudder Charlotte 2013.  Just to put into perspective how muddy we got, here is the "before" photo!

It was such a great bonding experience!  I am so glad that JC talked me into trying something like this.  It definitely pushed me way beyond my comfort zone.  

To date, Tough Mudder has raised over 6.5 million dollars for the Wounded Warrior Project!!!
