4 years ago today, JC and I faced a very stern Russian judge in St. Petersburg.  We pleaded our case to become Emma's new parents.  It was not easy...very stressful/nerve-racking.  Thankfully we answered all of the questions to her satisfaction, and she said YES!

Emma's First Book:  Pigs All Around

Emma brought home her first book for homework this week.  She can read it word for word...well she has mostly memorized it, but she is still amazing!  

They had Color Days at her school through last Friday.  For homework starting Monday, she was supposed to learn how to recognize the color words spelled out.  Not only does she recognize them, but she can spell the colors red, blue, yellow, pink, and white on command!  So proud of our Emma!
