There are so many beautiful plants in our yard...it is just about too much for us to even take care of.

One of my favorites is an Oak Leaf Hydrangea.  We have one of these giant beauties at the front left corner of our house, and it is just starting to bloom.

Day 152

Brendan's great grandparents made it to his game today.

It was sunny and 85 degrees!  Thankfully they brought their umbrellas.

The game went to seven innings, and after being down the entire game, we were able to come back and win 12-11!!!

No big camera pics today.

JC and I did get to try a new restaurant that just opened Wednesday though! It was really good! Great atmosphere!

Day 150

We moved in last September.

The only addition we made to the landscape was a "Little Gem" Magnolia.  I blogged about it HERE.

Today the first bloom opened up.

Day 149

Friday night I added that Brendan hit his first home run during a baseball game.

He not only hit one home run on Friday, he also hit a second home run in Saturday's game. At this age, they only play six innings.  B came up to bat in the bottom of the 6th (down by two runs with two outs and a man on second).  Brendan hits his second home run ever to send the game into overtime.  These boys ended up playing nine innings and over three hours.  Our team ended up losing by one, but what a game.  I wish I had seen it.

We have two peony bushes in our backyard...

the blooms are beautiful but oh so heavy...they fall right over so that it is hard to see them unless you cut them!

These are all SOOC.

I wish the blooms lasted longer. They are just beautiful!
