Tonight was B's 12U All-Stars Banquet.  This is our 5th All-Stars Banquet in a row, and it's probably our last.

Throwback Thursday...

This was the first day of school August 2013...

Tomorrow is officially the last day of school here, but both Brendan and Emma will stay home to go to Jackson's 5th grade graduation ceremony.

So today was Emma's Last DAY of Kindergarten!  Well done Baby Girl!!!

We met Emma for the first time on June 3, 2009.  It's hard to believe it's been five years since we saw her face for the first time.

Today we had a little tutorial in Lightroom and then I went for a short run!  We all headed to town to shop and have lunch. 

I had my first true lobster roll. It was delicious!

This morning around 6am, one of Brendan's fellow Little League players passed away from cancer.  He was such an inspiration to our entire community.

This is a throwback picture of Brendan and a teammate wearing their "Jonah" shirts at a baseball tournament in October 2012.  Two of the family's favorite slogans are "Strike Out Cancer" and "Fight Like David"!

I went back to look at the first year I started this 365 project...it was 2009.  I have only completed the entire year once, and that was last year.

Tonight B has a late baseball game (hopeful that it starts by 7:30). It is his 4th in a row, but it is his passion. I am so sad to miss it. I absolutely adore watching him play right now. Four baseball games during the school week is an awful lot to ask of the littles though. So tonight we are having some chill time and cheering from home

Posting for Thursday, April 17th...

This morning, JC and I woke up around 6am PST.  We headed down for some coffee at our favorite cafe in the Bellagio and then walked around the Conservatory.

We had another pool day, and then we all went to Tao for dinner. It was delicious!  Check out this big fortune cookie dessert we got to share!!!

Day 100

WooHoo!!!  Day 100 of 2014!  I must admit that the first 100 days have not been my favorite weather wise.  Very much looking forward to warmer weather!

Since it is Thursday and Brendan has yet another baseball game tonight, I decided to do a throwback!  This was taken on our last spring break trip to Florida (2013).  I am really missing warm, sunny Florida this week!!!

Day 93

Thursday was our last day of vacation in Florida!  We spent all day by the pool and on the beach!  The weather could not have been better! 

We even finished our puzzle of some of the store fronts in New Orleans! 

It has been a great week! 

Day 86

Today has been a long day!  We are finally on our way to Florida for spring break!

This afternoon, Brendan's middle school baseball team played, and they won!!!

We made it to the interstate around 6:25 and to Charlotte by the time the sun was starting to set. 

Now we are just driving the many miles to our stopping point! 

Hoping for warm, sunny skies this week!

This morning a little before 7am, my aunt Bonnie Gray passed away from cancer.  She fought it so bravely for two years.  She will be missed greatly.  Sad day!

Day 30

We have been stuck in the house for two days now.  School has been cancelled, and we are running out of things to keep us happy and occupied!  Yes, we only got about 2 inches of snow, but it has not gotten above freezing for 72 hours.

Emma decided she wanted to bake a cake!  We had a box of yellow cake mix in the pantry and a can of chocolate frosting.  However, Emma wanted to make a snowman so the chocolate frosting was not going to work.  I found a recipe for "easy" Buttercream frosting online so I broke out the old Kitchenaid mixer.
