Day 144

Memorial Day weekend we went to OIB with the Espositos.  We had so much fun as usual.

Today we are in Ft. Lauderdale. We finally made it to the beach.

On Thursday night, JC and I drove to our condo at Oak Island to pack up all of our personal belongings.  We have decided to sell the condo furnished.  It was actually very sad for me to do.  Selling is the best decision for our family right now because we never get to go down, but that condo and the beach brought me so much joy and peace!  I will miss it so much.

Today we had a little tutorial in Lightroom and then I went for a short run!  We all headed to town to shop and have lunch. 

I had my first true lobster roll. It was delicious!

Another beautiful day in Florida!  Today we hung out on the beach and then decided to take in the Miami Marlins home opener!  It only took 3 hours to travel 26 miles and park. Ugh

I had such high hopes for the dress shoot on the beach Saturday!  The freezing cold and whipping wind made it almost impossible!

Seems hard to believe that I am posting for Day 365...this Project 365 has been so much fun at times and so much work at times.  In hind-sight, I am so glad that I did it. A big shout out to my friend, Maria, for helping to keep me accountable for posting.  I have truly enjoyed sharing this project with you, dear friend!

The first third of our Christmas vacation is in Daytona Beach.  We cashed in some timeshare points that were going to expire on the 31st, and we spent two nights at the Wyndham Ocean Walk.  Here is the view from our balcony looking down the beach...

Brendan played in his last baseball game of 2013 today. After playing for eight straight months with only a 3 week break, it is so bittersweet.  We were all a little down tonight, but all good things must come to an end.

Next season starts in just four months!  :)
