Day 94

We drove home today. Literally that's all we did. 775 miles. 11.5 hours

 We had originally planned to stay the night in Savannah, but about 2 hours in decided just to keep going! 

JC and I took turns driving. He definitely drove the most though.

We got home about 9:45 last night and collapsed. What a great trip!  I wish I was still in Florida! 

Day 93

Thursday was our last day of vacation in Florida!  We spent all day by the pool and on the beach!  The weather could not have been better! 

We even finished our puzzle of some of the store fronts in New Orleans! 

It has been a great week!

Today we headed farther south to Cape Canaveral!  It is warmer, but it rained off on and on all day. I only took photos with my iPhone today because I was afraid that my Nikon would get wet. Here is a photo showing some of the outdoor area at the pool. If you look closely behind the palm trees, you can see the Carnival cruise ship heading out to sea.

The first third of our Christmas vacation is in Daytona Beach.  We cashed in some timeshare points that were going to expire on the 31st, and we spent two nights at the Wyndham Ocean Walk.  Here is the view from our balcony looking down the beach...

This is for last night...We arrived at Emerald Isle late yesterday afternoon and actually had a little beach time before dinner.

I grew up coming here for family vacation, and I have so many fond memories of being on this little island.  It is beautiful!

Day 88

We hopped on a plane to Florida yesterday. It was a long but good day of travel. This is my post for yesterday since I missed posting last night.
