Happy 42!

Today is JC's 42nd birthday!  These photos were actually taken 2 years ago when we celebrated J's 40th birthday, but I wanted to repost them since they are a couple of my favorites!

Day 127

This morning around 6am, one of Brendan's fellow Little League players passed away from cancer.  He was such an inspiration to our entire community.

This is a throwback picture of Brendan and a teammate wearing their "Jonah" shirts at a baseball tournament in October 2012.  Two of the family's favorite slogans are "Strike Out Cancer" and "Fight Like David"!

Happy 13th Birthday Brendan!!!

It's hard to believe it's been 13 years since you were born!  We love you so much!

For Sunday...

Jackson's team played again this morning.  They ended the tournament with one tie and 2 wins!  We were all so proud of these boys.  It was a fantastic weekend!  Here is Jackson with his coach!

Today is our 16th wedding anniversary.  I thought I would post a photo of my Bridesmaids' Luncheon.

We all look so young!  It was a great day!

Throwback Thursday...

I went back to look at the first year I started this 365 project...it was 2009.  I have only completed the entire year once, and that was last year.

Today I want to repost the photo that was posted on May 1, 2009.  I cannot believe how little these guys look here.  They are such sweet boys!

Day 120

Last year I posted some pics of a tree we have in our backyard.  At the time I didn't know what kind it is.  Here is a link to that post.  Ironically I did that post on April 29th last year.

This year we are a little behind in the leafing and blooming process.  This tree still amazes me though.  My MIL helped me identify it as a type of magnolia tree.

Extremely bad weather has been forecasted for our area tonight through tomorrow so all sports were cancelled for tonight.

I attempted to read a little this afternoon. Too bad I didn't even get past one page before needing to do another chore.

I do love my Lilly Nook cover though.
