Happy Birthday JC!!!  We love you so much!

Emma played in her last Rec soccer game, and she got a trophy at the end!





Saturday night was also Brendan's rehearsal for Confirmation with a dinner following...The group signed each other's stoles that they would wear for Confirmation.

JC and I enjoyed our Friday lunch outside today at the Village Tavern.  The prompt is Friday Funday.

And here is another one just for fun...after school, we took Emma with us to buy some more stone pavers for the back yard and then stopped at Sheetz.  Emma got to order her own frozen treat!

Today's prompt is It's the little things...

JC and I had a lunch date.  I love our Friday lunches when the kids are in school.  Today we tried a neat little restaurant downtown.

We sat at the bar to eat since they were already packed.  The food was delicious, the drinks were yummy and our server was awesome!

Today is JC's 42nd birthday!  These photos were actually taken 2 years ago when we celebrated J's 40th birthday, but I wanted to repost them since they are a couple of my favorites!

B had a long, cold baseball game, and we didn't get home until 8:30.

Almost a mile in…JC meets up with us during his Spartan Sprint!  The kids are so happy to see him, and so was I!  He did great!

P.S. This was my Jr. Prom Dress circa 1991.  My mother had to add a ribbon corset to the back so it would close since I could not get it zipped up!  :)

I am posting for last night.

Yesterday JC got up at 5am to run The Scream Half Marathon.  Because of baseball we were in a hotel only about 20 miles away from the shuttle site.

I am so proud of JC.  He ran it in 1:31!  He came in 19th overall and 2nd place in his age group!

Happy Father's Day

This is my fifth Father's Day since my dad passed away...I miss him so much it hurts.

I am so grateful to have married JC...I feel like I picked the most perfect man to be the father to our children.  He is our rock!

ThrowbackThursday...

Today is JC's 41st birthday!  We spent tonight at the baseball field from 6:15 until almost 10pm (that is after picking Jackson up from the soccer field).  I took my camera out there only to discover that I had left the battery charging at home. UGH...I hate it when I do that.

Anyway, I took this photo of JC on his 40th birthday in our room at the Bellagio.  I like the feel of it, but I probably would not have processed it the same way this year.

We got home from the Great Wolf Lodge pretty early.  The kids were ready to leave, and that's all we needed to hear.

So this afternoon, JC and I decided to start prepping the dining room to be painted.

I enlisted JC to help me sand over the edges of the stripes.
