Extremely bad weather has been forecasted for our area tonight through tomorrow so all sports were cancelled for tonight.

I attempted to read a little this afternoon. Too bad I didn't even get past one page before needing to do another chore.

I do love my Lilly Nook cover though.

Tonight B has a late baseball game (hopeful that it starts by 7:30). It is his 4th in a row, but it is his passion. I am so sad to miss it. I absolutely adore watching him play right now. Four baseball games during the school week is an awful lot to ask of the littles though. So tonight we are having some chill time and cheering from home

For Wednesday night...

Back at the baseball field (every night but Friday this week).

Day 112

Wow...back to my regular schedule which is pretty amazing since it is 10pm and we are just now getting home from Emma's soccer game and Brendan's baseball game.  Jackson also had a game tonight, but he is at Camp Hanes with his class so actually we had a lighter load tonight than we originally thought!

Here is a photo that I snapped today with my new 85mm lens.  Our azaleas are coming in nicely now.

For Monday, April 21st...

Today is the 6 year anniversary of my dad passing.  In some ways, it seems like yesterday.  Thankfully in other ways, the pain from missing him is not quite so fresh.

Still miss him everyday!

For Easter Sunday, April 20th...

I was so bad this year.  I didn't take any photos of the kids on Easter.  We were missing Jackson; he was still at the beach with MiMi, and I just didn't have the strength to get my camera out.  I was still on west coast time.

Here is a shot I posted on Instagram of our blooming dogwood tree. It is beautiful right now, and I love the story of the dogwood tree and the cross.
