Day 19

Saturday morning we also drove over to the Jamestown Settlement.  We had a great time exploring.

Day 18

On our last full day in Williamsburg, we drove over to Newport News in the morning since it was pouring down rain.  JC took us by his old house and some of the places he remembered most.

The weather finally cleared up in the afternoon so we were able to walk through Colonial Williamsburg.

Day 17

We arrived in Williamsburg, VA last night.  We took the boys to see the football stadium at William & Mary, and Jackson and Emma decided to take a lap around the track.

We also took Brendan over to see the baseball stadium.  We got lucky ~ the gates were unlocked.

This morning we woke up to a small covering of ice.  It was just enough to cause the schools to be closed all day.

The kids were very happy...me, not so much!

Another cold, winter day that makes me want to scream, BUT

As I approached the mailbox, look what I saw barely above the pine straw...our first sign of spring.
