Day 17

We woke up to snow...it was beautiful while it lasted.  It snowed until 10, but then the sun came out and it was all gone by 11!

Day 16

I took Emma out for a little photo shoot for her upcoming 8th birthday.  Our first stop was the soccer field.

We finally decided to get a sectional for our small great room.  We have struggled with having enough seating in this space since we moved in...I think despite my concerns that we are going to really enjoy this.

Today is the day...

Jackson got his braces on...but first we went to dad's office for a quick cleaning! :)

Jackson does not like his smile at all because of his teeth.  I'm very excited for him to get them straightened so that he will be a bit more confident about his beautiful smile!

Day 8

For Jackson's birthday, we went up to Sugar Mountain, NC so that we could ski.  On the way up, we stopped and had dinner at the Japanese steakhouse in Boone.

We were seated so that we could see out into the courtyard.  They still had their Christmas tree up, and it was beautiful!
